Singapore takes centre stage for the first time as it hosts the WDC Singapore qualifying tournament, organized by Danz People Singapore. Winners from this electrifying event will be seeded for the prestigious WDC 2024 FINAL in Japan. 

Battle Details:

16 June 2024, 10am - 9.30pm (Registration begins 9.30am)

Marina Square Mall Foyer and Danz People Studio

There will be 1 Specialist judge from each category.

Qualifying Round:
Dancers compete for a spot in the main tournament
Audition format
60 seconds per team
Judge will score out of 30 points
Qualifier rounds will be judged by genre specialist judge only (1 judge)

Tournament Round (Top 16 onwards):
Panel of 4 judges - 1 specialist judge + 3 other judges. Specialist Judge carries 2 points while other
three judges carries 1 point.
Team that scores the most point per round wins.

Tournament Rules:
Best 16: 1 round per dancer, 45 secs per round
Best 8: 1 round per dancer, 45 secs per round
Best 4: 2 rounds per dancer, 45 secs per round
Final: 2 rounds per dancer, 60 secs per round

Prizes

2v2: $600.00 per team, winner of each battle will be seeded to WDC Finals in Japan
U16 1v1: $250.00 for the champion
