(profile) natasha

Natasha started dancing at the age of 13 with River Valley Dance Society and Dance Horizon Troupe (Singapore) during her years in River Valley High School. Upon graduation from the Integrated Programme, she pursued her passion with Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), where she worked with international choreographers such as Aida Redza (Malaysia), Molly Poerstel (USA) and James Cousins (UK) to name a few.

During her studies in NAFA, she worked closely with John Mead Dance Company in numerous repertoires, including Sentient Space (2013) and Light and Nothingness (2014). In the same year, she joined Re:Dance Theatre II and has perfomed in their annual productions, Prologue (2015) and Parallel (2016). In March 2016, she travelled to New York City under the International Visa Programme by Peridance Center, where she completed a three-months course in May 2016. As one of the founding members of Paragraph, she has perfomed in numerous inter-disciplinary collaborative works with the collective, including Unassuming Voices (2015) and Lucid Spheres (July 2016).

Through performance and teaching, she hopes to share her love for dance and touch lives with her art.
